Synced Servers Shutting Down: Game Services to End on September 9 2024
NExT Studios announces closure of their looter-shooter Synced, following struggles common among free-to-play titles despite creative efforts.
NExT Studios has announced that their third-person looter-shooter Synced will be shutting down at 03:00 on September 9, 2024 (GMT+0). This marks the end of a game that introduced unique mechanics, blending futuristic combat with the ability to sync with Nanos, but it unfortunately struggled to build a lasting player base.
At Free2Frag, it’s disheartening to see a game with so much potential and creativity face such a fate. This is a growing trend among free-to-play games, where despite the developers' dedication and innovative ideas, success can remain elusive in the highly competitive market.
NExT Studios has expressed deep gratitude to the community for their support. Although no further updates or in-game events are planned, players who already have accounts are invited to enjoy the final weeks before the servers are permanently taken offline.
We are saddened to bid farewell to Synced, a game that pushed boundaries in the looter-shooter genre. The talent and hard work behind its development won’t go unnoticed, and we look forward to seeing what the team at NExT Studios creates in the future.
